A person that does something extremely well, without any formal training...

That's Stuart Frolick.

As Creative Director of the Design Office at ArtCenter College of Design, and Director of Editorial Services at CalArts (California Institute of the Arts), Stuart was responsible for the print work published by both institutions.

Working in the arts, while immersed with designers, he also created is own art in various media. During this time, he was creating catalogues, cd’s, and websites, but more importantly, he was developing what most artists seek: a vision.

Even now, Stuart is continually refining his vision...

Stuart Frolick is a Verbal and Visual Artist working in Multiple Mediums...

He has also published a book, “Christ in the Suburbs” which is a visual examination of how Jesus would fare in modern life. The book has a biting wit, and includes clips from art history that makes one see iconic images of Jesus in thoroughly different and unique ways.

Collage has been central to his practice - connecting the inner world of drawing and painting, with the outer world - the subject of his photographs.

There is a certain magic to his vision, which can be seen in every medium he chooses...
